Novterbias entry this time is quite different to many of our previous entries. The song is in french, the title means 'Light me' [presumably not literally] Here is my [bad] translation of the lyrics, with some help from an online translator. Light me, i am strong and I need you In the dark, i fear and i cry in front of you Look at me, i am there Yes but you do not see me Yes but i, i am there, in front of you Light me (x6) Look at me, i am there Yes but you don't get on with me/don't agree In the dark, i sing (something to do with eyes) Look at this, its for me the house of you without me(?) Yes but i am without you, never 'we' Light me (x6) Light me, i am strong and I need you In the dark, i fear and i cry in front of you Escape-me of my death (I do not understand this line, something to do with brandy apparently) Do not fear, i am there, there for you. light me, etc
You have downloaded it already? Must be a good sign then But .. would you please tell me the first letter of my song xD
OMFG Eurovizz SORRYYYYYYYYY It was my mistake xD xD xD This song i was discribing is another contestant's OMG I feel stupid once again! Your song's title starts with "H.. I...." and the band's name is a number together with another word Am i true??
Mohaha Wrong again And I have never heard a Korean song starting with H But I know a band's name with mix of numbers and letters: 2NE1 <-- BUT I haven't sent them either EDIT: Flyer has officially caught me.
I KNEW IT xD Eurovizz sent an AMAZING entry i must say...! She HAS TO WIN(if its not for me xD ! just kidding)
Lusitanian entry in 10th Edition Ok, after failing to do a promo for our 9th edition entry, we're back to official promote our 10th edition entry! Lusitania is sending a DIVA to this contest! However, while (whilst for you Brits) she has had several hit songs, this was her first single and was not a "smash-hit". This song was the "pop" version of a song from a successful movie. She looks so different, and much younger, in the video for this song. The song was released as an "airplay only" song, so you could not buy the single. Thus, it never charted in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. However, it did reach #19 on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1998. Think you know the song? Maybe you should look in the mirror...
Well... since the previous Atlantico Norte was too obvious... this time it will not be. About our music... it's sung in spanish by a pop/rock spanish group whose origin is the Basque Country. This music is about a goodbye without hard-feelings. Hope you enjoy it!
Well, my song is kinda pop/electro (or dance, whatever you wanna call it), and that's all I can say for now, I hope you'll enjoy it .
After coming last in the previous contest, Barborderlos needs to try harder, so I am sending a song by one of my favourite bands ever. They are a band of female singers and male instrumentalists who combine traditional folk music with a host of other elements such as ethno-pop and jazz. I once travelled for six hours through wind and rain to see them perform and meet them. Those of you with a keen eye, access to my facebook and some detective work skills will be able to find a photo of me with the girls.. but you're far too busy to be doing that! =^p On an ESC note, I remember this band performing to people at Helsinki '07 [not at the actual concert but somewhere nearby on the same night], and more interestingly, two of the singers of the band have entered themselves into the Finnish NFs for 2010, under a different name of course. Although I don't understand their language, I absolutely adore this band because they convey so many emotions to me through their songs- they have angry songs, sorrowful songs, they sing with hope, admiration, they sing about their isolation, and you can truly feel it. In one of their songs they chant like witches to cure a man who has been bitten by a snake. Another of their songs is about washing clothes. They are just so versatile! And so it was very hard to choose one piece of their music ahead of the rest.. so if you like them I encourage you to explore further to hear the sadder and the angrier songs. This is because I eventually opted for an upbeat song, which is basically about not taking any crap from your boyfriend. If a boyfriend cheats on you, he'll get a good whipping! Whack, whack, whack, goes the cane!!
Well JW... it's not TOO obvious... there are plenty of groups from spain and specially origined on the Basque Country.
A song with a typical Maltese/Mediterranean rhythm, in the Maltese language with sounds of mystery and fantasy. It is about a beautiful woman whose life ended near the valleys and who still appears to search for love.. enjoy the music and PEACE
my song is a pop-rock,pop-punk song sung by an american band whose lead singer is one fine delight hehe.its a great motto for the ppl who open their eyes n see that their relationship became n ending with a disappointment.i love to sing n dance with my song, thats why ive sent it.hope u enjoy it too.good luck everyone!
I wasn't going to send rock this time. But then I changed my mind so I changed my song at the last minute. So now I am sending rock after all. Oh well. I like rock. And I like this song. That is all.
For Wodongaria's last minute debut we are sending a singer from Brisbane, Australia. Classically trained, but mainly known as a slightly offbeat quirky pop singer, the song is a little bit different, but it's one I enjoy alot.
