My song is a piano-type pop song, kinda similar to Because of you by Kelly Clarkson, but not a ballad and quite a bit more up-tempo Its a very nice song, with nice lyrics, and I quite like it It is quite understated, and hopefully it won't get forgotten. Its by an American singer, who I only discovered recently but after a few listens this song inparticular grew on me, and I downloaded the album, which I don't regret because it is very good. Anyway I hope you like my song and good luck everybody
State of the Ark's entry is kinda rock It's a Swedish song sung in English by a Swedish "duo". This is the first time they are working together. Actually, one of them is the lead singer of a well-known non-Swedish rock band. (Btw, this singer and I have one thing in common ) P.S. Ollie, the same thing happened to me
After getting second and qualifying for the next final with a European singer, I decided to send an American female singer. This song is from her debut album I think. She's saying "no more" to her man and the title is a phrase that sounds like a threat when you first read it.
Andropia Will send a music genre no one sent before, its not an welknown song at all This is not at all what I have sent in the previus contests but anyway I hope u all will like this beautiful song, Its not in english I dont knwo the language lmao Anyway now i will shut up OLLE WHAT ????
The song I'm sending is a country song I guess you could call it, by two legends together. I love the song and both singers.
The song that Atlantico Norte is sending to the contest... is a mix of a classic composition with dance music... Hope you enjoy it!
Jacuvia's fifth entry is a 50s style jazzy type pop song by a rising British star. Her songs have featured on Desperate Housewives, The Hills and a French bank advert. She took part in the War Child charity single and has had little chart success on her own.
Icelandic indie-pop artist. The artist has featured at a movie (actually some other Icelandic artist had to sing that song, but the artist couldn't do that because of health reasons). The song is from the artist's new album and isn't that famous right now. But I do enjoy that song. It's very indie popish.
Safinette's representative is an American lady at the age of 23.She is a singer, songwriter and an actress. But music is special for her,she describes the role of music in her life with the words"that's who i am" She also can't categorize her music as it's a special one and i definitely love it. When my song is on turn the volume up,lay back and get the message she gives.Caus we all forget to do it(what she says)in the fuss of life. Enjoy&Good Luck!
I will not vote before JW has not shown his votes first, as it was in previous editions... I think the hst who can see all our votes and change their own votes then MUST vote FIRST and in PUBLIC.... what do u think?
You'll get disqualified for not voting then I've not listened to the songs yet, nor should the host lose the ability to change his mind and adjust votes like everyone else. The contest is supposed to be fun. Just go with that and trust everyone.
Well, I will vote anyway but I do agree with Arben that the host of the contest should vote publicly before everyone else. Especially these days that so many new countries (i.e. people that not all of us know/trust) participate in the contest, I'd like to be sure that everything is out in the open. For the record, I do trust jw, so this isn't about him but about the general good of the contest. PS If the host changes his mind at some point, he can always post his new votes.
No new countries this time though Mina The host hasn't revealed votes since the modern era of the contest (#7 onwards) with the new vote form, and it's not something that I will do in this edition either.
It would be ideal if the votes weren't accessible by the host until the end of voting, thus having no need to post any votes publicly. That way people who are unsure about the current method would have peace of mind. Myself, personally, I don't have a problem with the way that the votes are kept at the moment. If I was the host I wouldn't want to have my votes influencing the way people see the songs.
