With official permission from the official host of the escchat contest, The State of the Ark, I officially create the official thread to describe your song! Remember don't give too much away!
Fusionia The song i have chosen is a rnb / soul song, sung by a fairly famous American singer. The reason behind this song was induced by a recent thread a member made in one of the forums, as the basic message of the song is that you never know what tomorrow will bring – and you can never guarantee or predict what happens behind closed doors *or in our particular case behind closed screens* and that speculation of these only fuels the flames. Despite the fact the song has a fairly upbeat tempo – the haunting memorable and quite frankly genius lyrics is the reason i came to choose the song. Something we all need to bear in mind is that although we are all friends – you never have the full extent of another person’s life, whether it be family, health or self problems you can never truly get the view of how damaging it is or isn’t, until that person is met in person. To add some avalonian context – the singer *whose real nationality is Fusionian (spelt correctly )* did a tour of every country and was shocked by the poverty and general nasty disease ridden people of BD and their barbaric people, we also SECRETLY went into 7 *or is it 8 now, meh* countries found to the very very west of a place and just wrote a song about that so yeah ENJOY xD P.S I TOOK JONNYS PROMO VIRGINITY HA
Jacuvia's second escChat Song Contest attempt is by an Australian singer with some pointy red boots with an electronic pop song and was originally released in 2007. It's a very cheerful song which takes a similar tone to our edition 7 song.
Realllllyyy? Mwhahahahaha And regarding your singers thoughts on Black Daisystan, Black Daisystan is very proud of our Under-developed status, constant famine and war-torn disease-ridden country So they were merely paying us a compliment
Beroriaeth's 1st ever entry in the escchat song contest is a welsh love song sung by a world class singer who is very much loved across the country. its a calming song that i hope you'll love good luck everyone!! hawddamor pawb!!
Virus DUE TO A CERTAIN VIRUS JONNY HAS NAMED BIR.THDAY VIRUS HIS PROMO HAD TO BE MOVED - NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT I WIN XD HERE IT IS OK the Black Daisystan entry is much in the style of our previous ones, basically pop-rock. The song has only been released in its homeland where it was a moderate hit. Its by a singer who has been compared to Katy Perry and is in many ways a more innocent Katy Perry with less bitching, pms'ing, and attitude Basically its a fun honest song and I damn well hope you all love it as much as I do! P.S HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONNY *2 hours early who gives a crap *
Kristonia's entry is by a British girl band, which was quite famous. The song is a typical pop song (which isn't typical for Kristonia) and was the soundtrack of a well-known movie. And it's NOT PCD
The second entry from Kiermakistan is a depature from the wholesome ballads of Maia Hirasawa, and we have moved towards a more upbeat song. Who doesnt like nine piece groups, with matching costumes, very long legs and a great dance routine?! This entry is catchy, sharp and fresh, and i am certain we can beat he 12th place Maia achieved for our first attempt! Just dont forget, Kiermakistan is the genie for your world!
8th ECSC entry from Lusitânia Since apparently NO ONE (accept San Minino & Arbana) can truly appreciate the meaning of a song, and look past it's style, Lusitânia has decided to send a well-known hit song for the next contest. This song was inspired by a radio-ban and real life death threats against the artists. It is a personal favourite of King Estêvão I of Lusitânia. While this song may not be rap, it's also not dance, electro pop either. So, we try again. And no, I'm not bitter about a last-place finish in the previous contest. C'est La Vie...(oooooh that's a good song too! Oh wait, we sent that as our debut entry in the 3rd edition of the contest)
Our entry this time is rock again. A song that I simply adore. It was produced, composed and performed by a popular American mucisian. The lyrics are about the singer's disappointment by the people of his country for being convinced by the words of their current president - although they could see no actions - and for voting for him and re-electing him as president. Both the lyrics and music are awesome imo and the video clip shows that perfection can be achieved through simplicity!
My song is for the first time in our history a ballad, sung by a worldwide famous Canadian woman. lol.
My song is an upbeat pop-rock song that was first released in 1978 by an English band that I love. The version I'm sending to the contest is from non-English artists but I think it's quite good..and one of them is a cutieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I will never live down the shame But thanks for the pre-birthday birthday wishes lol But more importantly, less than 24 hours till results
today and tommorow are gonna be one *of many mark my words* worst days of my life YAY thanks for reminding me jonny! i was thinking of texting jw or stew when i get them before my parents to pisstake them but i thought mabye not GOOD LUCK TO ANY GCSE PEOPLE OUT THERE
The State of the Ark has selected a Swedish song and artist this time It's a rock ballad about a woman who's been beaten by her husband The singer is familiar to most of you.
Støkkanslåndet has submitted it's entry. This time we've submitted an American-based quintet with what I think is a very unique sound, for a song recorded in 2008 anyhow. I first heard this song on a TV ad, decided to look it up, and now I really enjoy the bands work. Many theories have been put forward with regards to what this song is about, but I prefer to just enjoy their voices.
